...Next time, perhaps at least give me a little warning before picking me up? I'll allow it, but I usually hate this kind of thing.

I do not give empty flattery. Merely reiterating your importance, you are one of my two most trusted engineers after all.

[His tail wags even more, though it his face turns so...so embarrassed at the revelation. Those ears fold down and his eye closes. Thankfully his fur hides any embarrassing flush to his face.]

Ah... my apologies. Perhaps I have made myself too comfortable in your presence.

[It doesn't stop him from walking, though.]

...It's fine, really. [Embarrassed, certainly, but not all that upset.] It is admittedly almost nostalgic--I used to know someone with very little sense of personal space. I suppose it merely comes down to care versus condescension--so long as you know this is far from necessary, I will tolerate it now and then.

You have no need to worry, Viktor. I was merely thinking of convenience. My legs do not get tired in the same way most people's do.

Well...I do appreciate the consideration, in that case. I realize I am not exactly the fastest person on foot.

If I am speaking quite honestly, not many can match my speed on foot.

To say it's given me a new lease on life is an understatement. I'd rejected Master Percy's offers before, thinking them frivolous. But since I've had the app it's become more and more necessary to keep up with things.

I cannot thank you enough for that. You both have my eternal loyalty and protection.

There is hardly anything frivolous about being able to move the way you want to. Even if that involves jet engines.

I assure you, the gratitude isn't necessary--it is entirely my pleasure to have something to work on and maintain. But I do appreciate it.

Many would argue on the jet engines part. But I would not be one of them...not now, at least.

[But his head holds high after that.]

Zodiac touted that they could provide me with legs that would be synergistic with my wolfman anatomy. They weren't wrong, but it wasn't exactly ideal back then. The technology wasn't what it should've been, and expensive. It's only because of you two that I've gained that back, and with maintenance from people I can trust.

A little gratitude isn't too much, I'd say. Even if I'm now using it against my creators. [Yes, he will be going to grab Percy too, so he won't be left out.]
